About the Role:
As a Store Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:
• Overseeing the general day-to-day running of the shop
• Sorting donations and preparing items for sale
• Merchandising and maintaining attractive displays
• Ensuring high standards of housekeeping
• Assisting and engaging with customers in a friendly, helpful manner
What we’re Looking For:
• Flexibility and reliability are essential
• A friendly, hands-on approach and strong customer service skills
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential – we value enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

Our shop is more than just a place to shop; it's a community hub where people come together. Whether you're dropping by for a friendly chat, looking for resources, or just browsing, our welcoming environment ensures you feel right at home. Our dedicated volunteers and staff are always ready to assist you, answer questions, and provide information about diabetes and our support services.

Donation items we can gratefully accept
We welcome and are grateful for donations of items you no longer need or want.
Our shop is very small and therefore we advise you call us ahead of your visit to check we have the space.
We are able to accept your generous donations of the following saleable items:
• Women’s, men’s, children’s clothing and shoes
• Handbags, belts, accessories
• Jewellery
• Jigsaw puzzles
• Books
• Small items of bric a brac and kitchen ware
• Children’s toys and games (complete please)
• soft toys (must have the CE mark)
• Cd’s and DVD’s
Unfortunately we are unable to accept electrical goods and furniture. We do not accept duvets, pillows, car seats, booster seats or helmets.

• Children’s complete toy sets
• Soft toys (must display the CE mark)

Unfortunately, we can’t take furniture, electrical items, duvets, pillows, car seats, booster seats, or helmets. If you're unsure, just reach out to us!
